Philanthropy MA was running a custom membership platform on old software that was reaching end-of-life and needed a new home for their website and data. There were no off-the-shelf software solutions that suited their unique workflow and requirements, so we redesigned their website and built an entirely custom CRM and membership platform with event registrations and email marketing to accommodate their organization's programming needs.
As part of this process we migrated 16k users, 10k organizations, 4.5k job listings, 1.5k RFP listings, almost 20k transaction records, and several thousand discrete pieces of data including news, events, and web pages to the new system.
The new system allows for many features lacking in the previous iteration, including allowing users to belong to multiple organizations, allowing users to purchase tickets to an event for multiple users in their organizations, a streamlined checkout process that's embedded in the website instead of redirecting to a third party service, discounts for certain membership tiers, better account control and more insight into data from staff, and customizable email templates with replacement patterns from CRM fields.
