Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts has been working with Jantcu to maintain their WordPress web properties since 2017. When the organization underwent a nation-wide rebrand effort, Eastern Massachusetts contacted Jantcu to help think through the best way to preserve their individual identity while updating their chapter name, logo, fonts, colors, websites and marketing materials.
We focused primarily on their public facing website, built in WordPress, as well as their intake portal, built in Drupal. We explored a series of design mockups with their marketing staff and performed an accessibility audit to ensure users could navigate the website easily using screen reader technology. At the same time we helped them through the process of procuring a new domain name and doing a seamless cutover for their website and corporate email addresses.
We worked through the design and development phases of the project using an agile process that relied on iterations and a close feedback loop with the client. We deployed changes in a multistage environment so the Big Brothers Big Sisters staff could see updates and perform quality assurance testing on development and staging servers before anything ever touched the live site.
The deployments to the live site for approved materials were seamlessly integrated into their workflow without any interruptions or downtime to any of their web properties.
